Goals

Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns run by Justidea Agency for the clothing brand’s Surf Inc. online store were not bringing a satisfactory return on investment. Despite spending 3,500 euro and attracting 10,000 unique visitors per day, the agency was able to reach only a percentage of abandoned cart users each month. 

To increase the effectiveness of its campaigns, the agency needed a proven marketing automation tool that would meet two key requirements: 1. recognize users who are not logged in and who abandoned their carts at any time during their visit, 2. ensure high deliverability of e-mails to both Polish mailboxes (Onet, WP, o2 or Interia) and the main Gmail folder (instead of the “Offers” tab, which is ignored by users). 

Solution

Justidea Agency decided to try ExpertSender, a marketing automation platform successfully used by a large number of clients from the e-commerce industry, including fashion brands. ExpertSender’s ability to track anonymous user traffic on the website gave the agency the means to identify previously anonymous users, collect information about events related to them and connect these across different sessions. And by using other ExpertSender features, the agency was able to apply this knowledge to increase the effectiveness of its marketing activities. 


Results

By using forms that encourage people to leave their e-mail addresses on each product page, Justidea Agency was able to correctly identify over 60% of users abandoning their carts in previous sessions. This means an additional 5,000 potential customers per month to whom personalized marketing communications can be directed. Additionally, by granting access to dedicated IPs, ExpertSender ensured that the agency increased the delivery rate of its messages to both the main Gmail folder and the most popular Polish mailboxes: Onet, WP, o2 and Interia. 

Additionally, Justidea Agency has created a number of dynamic pop-ups directly correlated with the communication consents collected from users. The content of these pop-ups is customized for different users: unidentified, identified with no consent to e-mail marketing and identified with consent given to e-mail communication but not to marketing SMS-es. In this way, the agency is able to encourage users to give their “missing” consents to communication and use these to run intelligent and effective marketing automation.
